Guinevere

Director: Audrey Wells
Year Released: 1999
Rating: 1.0

Young Sarah Polley (who is cute but a little too mature and sophisticated for this role) 'falls' for older, artsy, counter-culture photographer Stephen Rea ... she's shy, ya know, and he's mature and wise, ya know, and she sees in him this 'father substitute' (her real father doesn't have but two lines in the movie) and then lives with him and sleeps with him and learns to express the 'creative brilliance' inside through his tutelage. But her mythical world of child-grown-up sexuality falls apart when she realizes - gasp! - he's done this before with other women, and he's broke! It's a bad take on "Lolita," obviously....
