Accountant Sam Larson (Kevin James), who (mentally) escapes his mundane day job by writing spy fiction, has his work published online as being non-fiction, which leads to his (all-too-real) kidnapping by Venezuelan rebels (Andy Garcia's Che Guevara-esque revolutionary is their leader), who intend to use him to assassinate the nation's President. Since Sam's writing skills are pedestrian it only makes sense that the asinine plot he gets dragged into matches it, with James' lovable doofus persona used once again to little effect (he's always playing a variation of Paul Blart: Mall Cop). It does touch so, so lightly on the CIA's (questionable) involvement in Latin American politics (agent Rob Riggle is entertaining)....
