Game tester/designer Alex (Allen Covert) has to move in with his Grandmother (Doris Roberts) and her two similarly-aged friends (Shirley Jones and Shirley Knight) once he gets kicked out of his old apartment. How this atrocious piece of amateur-hour, straight-to-the-Recycle-Bin movie-making became a cult item (that made over 50 million in DVD sales) is strange, but I suspect it may be due to weed-obsessed teenage boys with plenty of disposable income who think having sex with geriatrics is comedic gold. My pity goes out to Linda Cardellini for being trapped in this wreck; five minutes of Nick Swardson's stand-up is considerably more entertaining.
