Goofy podcaster Wallace (Justin Long) flies to Canada to interview a kid who cut his leg off with a katana imitating Kill Bill ... but it turns out he's dead so, in need of a good story, he seeks out a raconteur (Michael Parks) who drugs him, dismembers him and turns him into a mutant walrus. Smith, long tired of being funny in cinematic form, based this 'comedy'-horror movie on a (not serious) ad he saw on an online advertisement board and decided it would be a good movie to make (he was incorrect): it's Misery meets The Human Centipede and only good for a watch if you have a personal vendetta against Justin Long. Without Parks bringing out his creepy best it would be unwatchable, and it seems like Johnny Depp (as 'Guy LaPointe') got dropped in from another, even less funny movie (his accent is remarkably bad). I get that Smith is going pure camp, but even Lloyd Kaufman would be underwhelmed with the result.
