Not much of a 'trial' actually: Jarecki - and the brilliant lush Christopher Hitchens - have come to the conclusion that former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger is guilty well before the filming starts, and insist you agree. I mean, I can't stand the man, but a more well-rounded argument might have been a better approach: Kissinger has his apologists (Haig, for one), but they're of the slimy sort ("he sucks the sewer pipe") and only give support to those critical of him. The tone is flat, too, until Jarecki starts in with the hokey montages and drops in pop music. Feel free to hate Henry, but there's admittedly more to the tale (at 80 minutes, it scratches the barest of surfaces).
