April Fool's Day

Director: Fred Walton
Year Released: 1986
Rating: 1.5

The aptly-named Muffy invites several friends over to her house for a weekend of fun and one by one they end up dead - if it sounds like Agatha Christie, that's because this is And Then There Were None. There's a clever twist at the end which keeps it from the trash heap of 80's horror (a monstrous pile, in my opinion), but I'm not convinced it validates a movie that, for the most part, is derivative and lacking in even moderately scary moments.
