Half comedy, half horror film ... and it works as neither! (The half-and-half thing only works with Guinness and Harp Lager; a gin-and-tonic that's half tonic will most likely be returned to the hack bartender.) There's too much blood and gore for the jokes and dry one-liners to work and it doesn't take itself seriously enough to be unsettling, so there's clearly a problem of questionable identity. There are countless references to the Friday the 13th series for those with a predilection for that sort of thing not to mention a few shots of topless women and the chance to see Bill Paxton imitate Jimmy Buffett.
