Crimes of Passion
Director: Ken Russell
Year Released: 1984
Rating: 0.5
Truly awful sex 'comedy' from Russell ... it's impossible to take seriously, since Anthony Perkins hams it up while brandishing a metal dildo, Kathleen Turner has to deliver lines from a Miss America Pageant while seated in a gynecological chair and Tom Laughlin tries to pretend what he's doing is acting. The only thing that kept me watching is Russell's impeccable set design and outlandish neon lights; otherwise, it has nothing on those Harlequin novels.
