Sleepless

Director: Dario Argento
Year Released: 2001
Rating: 0.0

Disgustingly inept giallo from stylist Argento; if you thought his early films suffered from logic loopholes you can't fathom the absurdity of his 'later' films, which seem imbued with outright dementia, leaving the mildly cognitive viewer wondering whether or not the absurdity of it all is some elaborate joke or the product of a director of questionable talent (one blessed with visual grace but cursed with the writing ability of a budding middle-school mystery writer). It makes Tenebrae look like Psycho. I have a hard time believing Argento's cult audience will accept this laughable disaster.
