Oh, Hi!

Iris (Molly Gordon) and Isaac (Logan Lerman) drive to High Falls, New York to stay in a rented farmhouse for what's supposed to be their first "romantic weekend" as a couple - for "fun," Iris handcuffs Isaac to the bed using bondage equipment she finds in a locked closet, but after he admits he doesn't want to be in an exclusive relationship with her, she refuses to free him ... and then, when he threatens to report her for kidnapping, she calls up her friend Max (Geraldine Viswanathan) to help out. It's intended to be this 'cute' look at misunderstandings in the age of online dating and the initial twenty minutes are fine, except it gets stupendously dumber from there on out, as Iris comes across as a controlling narcissist, Isaac is clueless regarding his own behavior (and can't keep his trap shut) and Iris and Max truly believe they can use "witchcraft" to alter Isaac's memory. Imagine, for one second, that their roles were reversed, with Iris nude and chained up ... that's less entertaining to think about, isn't it? I kind of thought so. Okay, bye....
