Brothers

Siblings Jady (Peter Dinklage) and Moke (Josh Brolin) grew up with a felon for a mother (Jennifer Landon in her younger years, Glenn Close as a senior citizen) and carried on her criminal ways into adulthood, so after Jady is released early from prison - as a part of a crooked "deal" with police officer Jimmy Farful (Brendan Fraser) - he convinces Moke, who has a pregnant wife (Taylour Paige) back home, to accompany him on another job involving the recovery of missing emeralds.  The premise, with Moke supplying the brawn and smaller-statured Jady as the "brains," is a rehash of the 1988 movie Twins (with Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger), except it's less of a crowd-pleaser and not remotely entertaining, with the exception of a semi-amusing sequence with animal lover Marisa Tomei and her extremely horny ape companion.  When you're able to assemble a cast this accomplished and talented, the very least you can do is give them something to do worthy of their abilities....
