Good-natured (but horny) android Max (Don Keith Opper), who's the only assistant to Dr. Daniel (Klaus Kinski), allows a ship containing Maggie (Brie Howard), Keller (Norbert Weisser) and Mendes (Crofton Hardester) onboard their space station without realizing that all three of them are fugitives - at first, Daniel objects to their presence, but becomes enraptured with Maggie ... and has a plan to deactivate Max. Considering this was put together using left-over sets (from other Roger Corman productions) and a meager budget, it's a scrappy sci-fi tale that might dawdle a tad more than desired, but at least features a relatively restrained performance by Kinski and a plot that makes an attempt to be a little different (and a "twist ending" that I admittedly didn't anticipate). The funniest part is that Max's "secret wish" is to visit the city of Chicago: I hope they've figured out how to fix their problems by 2036 (the year this movie is set) because in 2024, you better be bulletproof.
