A woman (Amy Ryan) running for District Attorney is in an upscale hotel room with a presumably deceased college student (Austin Abrams) and she needs to "take care" of the body, so she calls up a "fixer" (George Clooney) to remove it, except another clean-up man (Brad Pitt) also appears ... and then they have to sort out what happened, and figure out why there's a backpack full of drugs behind the dresser.  It only seems logical to bring together real-life pals George and Brad on the big screen after so many years apart, but the entire premise covers achingly familiar territory (most of the first act could have been part of a stage play), the backstory involving the Croatians and Albanians is glossed over and it lacks the quick banter to make it anything more than a passing diversion.  The concluding shot pays homage to a movie that's considered a "classic" in some circles, but help me out: which one of them is Butch and which one is Sundance?  Or is it a fluid situation?
