Frogman

When he was just a little kid on vacation with his family, Dallas accidentally recorded on a VHS camcorder a humanoid-like amphibian that became known as "Frogman" - as an adult (Nathan Tymoshuk) he hears that the video has been "debunked" so he takes a trip with cameraman Scotty (Benny Barrett) and former one-night stand Amy (Chelsey Grant) to make a documentary and prove he's "right" and the creature exists. Believe it or not, this is based on some good ol' fashioned midwestern folklore - the supposedly four-foot tall "Loveland frog" was "spotted" in Ohio back in the early 1970's (I suspect LSD was involved) - but the final product is nothing more than an amateurish found-footage "horror" movie with deeply unlikeable characters, awful "acting" and a conclusion (complete with visual "glitches") that's way funnier than it was intended to be. It tries to mimic The Blair Witch Project "template" closely - imitation, flattery, etc. - but what Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez understood was that the less you show, the better off you are. To paraphrase Matt Furie's controversial cartoon character Pepe: feels bad, man.
