Pretty Maids All in a Row
Director: Roger Vadim
Year Released: 1971
Rating: 2.0
High school student Ponce de Leon Harper (John David Carson), who is a bosom-and-fanny enthusiast, finds a dead female in the boy's bathroom which causes panic and forces Officer Surcher (Telly Savalas) from the State Police to investigate - meanwhile, guidance counselor/football coach "Tiger" (Rock Hudson) convinces substitute teacher Ms. Smith (Angie Dickinson) to seduce Ponce and "break him in." It's notable as a time-capsule of the early 1970's and also the only feature film Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry ever wrote ... but inept as a murder "mystery" (since there is one suspect) or a "sex comedy" (unless the idea of closeted Hudson making out with multiple gorgeous women is supposed to be some giant in-joke). Having worked in education for entirely too long, it never passed the plausibility test for me: almost all of these "adults" would have been arrested and thrown in prison immediately ... and it's clearly Roddenberry (who in real life was a cad) exploring his horny side.
