Two decades after their first Jackass movie, the ol' gang - led by their Captain Johnny Knoxville - are back (along with some "new faces" like Jasper Dolphin, Zach Holmes and Rachel Wolfson) to submit their bodies (and psyches) to new forms of torture: it begins with Chris Pontius' penis dressed up like a giant monster taking over a city and then goes on to have Steve-O's genitalia covered in bees, Danger Ehren punishing his groin (in a variety of ways), Wee Man having a vulture pluck raw meat off his body, etc. The bits are still fun and many are surprisingly inventive, but now that most of the original crew are in their late 40's/early 50's (Knoxville's hair is very gray), it becomes this meditation on the limits of the human body and the toll taken by aging: one of the last "stunts" involves Knoxville versus a bull who didn't like his magic trick (he also broke his rib and wrist and had a concussion). While I'm grateful these movies exist - leave it to Generation X to destroy themselves for a laugh - I sincerely pray this is the absolute last of them: you don't want to test fate more than you already have.
