Dude, Where's My Car?
Director: Danny Leiner
Year Released: 2000
Rating: 2.0
Dim-witted potheads Jesse (Ashton Kutcher) and Chester (Seann William Scott) wake up after partying exceptionally hard and can't recall what happened the previous night, can't find their automobile, have two irate girlfriends (Jennifer Garner and Marla Sokoloff) ... and then have to locate the elusive "Continuum Transfunctioner" which several different parties, including the great Zoltan (Hal Sparks), desperately want. Sure, it's immature and remarkably stupid (according to the Trivia section for the movie on the Internet Movie Database, even Kutcher thought so), but it's also so carefree and full of energy it's tough to dismiss entirely, and there are some bits that truly work ("... and then?"). Several of the jokes would not go over well if it was released today (it could be easily accused of being both transphobic and homophobic), but it clings hard onto the absurd and never lets go. Shibby!
