Brazen (2022) review

Celebrated mystery writer Grace Miller (Alyssa Milano) gets to use her cop-like noggin' when her own sister, high school English teacher Kathleen (Emilie Ullerup), is found dead in her own house ... and she finds out that sis had a side gig as a webcam dominatrix (I told you teaching doesn't pay).  It's based on the book by Nora Roberts - known for cranking these out regularly - and it pushes out the red herrings and coincidences rather easily (it just so happens that the lead detective - also Grace's boyfriend - lives next door) all the way to the silly ending in which Milano's character turns into an Internet Mistress to "lure" the criminal.  This is all thoroughly awful, but I'm glad my early prediction that the kids did it came true: those big brats are always up to no good.
