Prey (2021) review

Five Germans out hiking for a "Bachelor Party Weekend" find themselves being shot at by a female sniper as they try to get to their Mercedes-Benz SUV - while evading her, they spot little trinkets scattered around the forest that had to have come from a child.  What I was hoping would be a B-movie version of Deliverance instead becomes this vague #YesAllMen diatribe: the killer never speaks (the "silent woman") and the way Roman (David Kross) "discovers" the truth - by watching a video conveniently left open on a laptop - is simply lazy writing (in fact, the entirety of the third act is just atrocious).  They should have stuck with the strippers and the drinking and the hangovers....
