An assassin (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) who was trained by her handler/father figure Varrick (Woody Harrelson) gets poisoned with Polonium-204 (a favorite of the Russians) and has to run around the streets of Japan - with some minor assistance from a little girl named Ani (Miku Patricia Martineau) - to find out who's responsible for her execution.  There have been a lot of movies about female killers the last few years - Gunpowder Milkshake, Jolt, Ava, The Rhythm Section, etc. - and this just nibbles off bits of those movies without adding anything substantial to them (it's grossly underwritten), although the cinematography by Lyle Vincent is certainly worth mentioning: he makes what's supposed to be modern day Osaka look like Blade Runner 2049 with the vivid colors and attractive animated billboards.  I was disappointed to find out that Boom Boom Lemon, the drink Kate craves, does not exist ... although Hatakosen Melon certainly does.
