Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) review

In this latest - and very expensive - update to the World of Titans, none other than Godzilla himself comes after King Kong thinking they're enemies, but it turns out that's completely wrong because it turns out the CEO of Apex Cybernetics, Walter Simmons (Demián Bichir) is actually building a MechaGodzilla to take them both out ... or something like that.  I sort of wonder what was going on at the developmental level that they let this "screenplay" - which has five names attached to it - get greenlit, because it's complete gibberish from start to finish, and as it approaches the ending it just becomes one long fight sequence, which merely reinforces what Mr. Scorsese said about movies being more like "theme parks."  To anyone who rags on actors and actresses: sure, they're famous and many are wealthy, but you try saying any of this dialogue with a straight face.
