Wendy (Cornelia Gröschel), who is married (with one son) and works at a diner, is told by a vagrant that she has super-powers ... and it turns out he's right, and there are more of them out there that are being controlled by The Man (boo!) with medication. It's nice to know that the United States doesn't have a monopoly on terrible superhero/comic book movies - albeit this was significantly cheaper to make and with tacky effects - but it's frustrating that despite being a smaller production they didn't focus more on adding, I don't know, I one or (gasp!) two new ideas to the pre-existing formula. Naturally, being the Land of the Übermensch, the filmmakers felt the need to address the whole Third Reich thing with the electricity-powered character of Elmar (Tim Oliver Schultz): we get it, you've atoned, etc.
