The Rental (2020) review

Two Silicon Valley-type couples (Dan Stevens with Alison Brie, Sheila Vand with Jeremy Allen White) rent a house in order to go hiking and do Molly together, except there's some naughty cheating going on ... and they find hidden cameras in the showers.  I guess Dave, seeing his brother James directing movies, decided to join in: while professionally shot, it suffers from pacing issues (it takes a full hour until the movie has any kind of urgency) and is severely underwritten, plus there's that botched ending that ignores things like "motive" and fails to explain anything (so there's a madman on the loose ... okay?).  I guess it's supposed to frighten the chai latte and Airbnb crowd ... but what about everyone else?
