John Henry (2020) review

Mr. Henry (Terry Crews) - yes, named after the "steel-driving man" - gets dragged back into a life of crime when an immigrant (Jamila Velazquez) ends up under his front porch after being chased by a gang.  The only reason I hit "play" on this was because of the presence of Crews (who is usually enjoyable in everything he does) ... except it is flat out godawful, from the opening scene that has the gall to name drop Tarantino to the final showdown with the aptly named Hell (Luda!) on a suburban lawn.  The Internet Movie Database has it listed as a "Thriller" - which is odd, because it crawls along like it has nowhere to go and all day to get there - but I would change that to "Unintentionally Bad Comedy."
