An Australian soldier-turned-mercenary (Chris Hemsworth) is hired to rescue the kidnapped son (Rudhraksh Jaiswal) of a drug lord from a rival kingpin, but finds the baddies are willing to send an Army after him.  With a premise like Tortured Warrior Seeks to Right Wrongs you know you're not getting anything remotely new substance wise - let's give a customary shout-out to the underrated Gerard Butler for being a mainstay in these types of movies - however what is impressive is the way it's shot: this may be Hargrave's feature-length effort, but he knows how to direct a gun battle (there's even a ten-plus minute stretch that covers up the edits quite well) and he keeps it trucking forward (let's hear it for mindless efficiency!).  If the last shot indicates what I think it does, it turns out they really did recruit Thor to Do a Job.
