The first word in the title is missing an "h." Several friends (Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph, Emily Spivey and Paula Pell) - who met each other working in a pizza shop decades prior - go on vacation to California's Napa Valley to celebrate one of their own's 50th birthday and, as expected, start to pick at and complain about each other. It's more or less a ladies-only Saturday Night Live reunion - even Tina Fey's in there - that gets dumber as it goes along: their final act of 'bonding' involves jumping (or crawling) down a cliff and ending up in the hospital. There's nothing wrong with making a movie about aging and worrying about the future, but at least be sharp about it instead of this woe-is-us depressive drivel. The Great Unanswered Question: how did the paella taste? Or did it all go to waste?
