The Vault
Director: Dan Bush
Year Released: 2017
Rating: 1.0
Three siblings (Francesca Eastwood, Taryn Manning and Scott Haze) plot to rob the Centurion Trust Bank, but they soon discover that the vault is haunted by the vicious spirits of victims from a botched 1980's robbery. It begins as a standard heist movie before turning into a B-horror cliché-fest, complete with a double 'shock ending' in which James Franco is revealed to be an undead spirit roaming the Earth just to be an irritant (plausible) and that the spooky baddies can pop up in the middle of a road to take out the 'escapees' (not plausible). Had any character in this been remotely likeable it could have been passable as Midnight Movie fodder, but as it stands I'm grateful the cretins get wiped out (they should have just played the Lottery, duh).
