The beginning of the end of The Hunger Games series - Part 2 would follow in 2015 - has Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) part of a war against the Capitol and slimy President Coin (Donald Sutherland) and preoccupied with saving Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), who's being brainwashed by the Enemy. What's supposed to be an epic and tense four-hour conclusion to a (fundamentally mediocre) story comes across as ineffectual and half-assed - not unlike Katniss' propaganda promos that she films with Cressida (Natalie Dormer) - and it fades out on Peeta strapped down, gone fully mental. With a cast this stacked you'd have thought it would have some degree of energy, but nope, that's not happening.
