Run, Loli, Run! Major suspension of disbelief time as a little fair-haired fifteen year old (Saoirse Ronan) runs across Africa and Europe beating the tar out of people and doing super ninja flips while the CIA (headed by Cate Blanchett) hunts after her. As if the sight of seeing a teenager beat up grown men doesn't take some getting used to, there's director Wright's wildly over-emphatic camera and The Chemical Brothers' wonky soundtrack to give Tom Tykwer a little bit of competition. It leaps around feverishly to avoid addressing blatant logical and logistical issues, but on a human-esque level it does show Ronan quite capable of being a lead actress: her (few) scenes of sexual maturation are charming (if brief), and she commits herself to the (silly) role completely.
