Fun - but at this point, very familiar - collection of more debasing/self-immolating 'stunts' by the well-known Jackass crew, led by MC Johnny Knoxville. The 'gimmick' this time around is the 3D aspect, though I was, incidentally, in a theatre that doesn't have 3D capabilities so I watched it the way everyone will on DVD/streaming: don't get me wrong, I'm sure the 'perk' of being able to see feces and dildos get tossed around in a third dimension (!!) is fantastic, but it's still vile without it so don't fret (I know I felt nauseous during the sweat-drinking scene). The relatively high level of homoeroticism is still there, naturally, and you can still defend their actions as representative of male self-loathing. It's performance art, too: these crazy bastards are our equivalent of The Vienna Actionists.
