One of my guilty pleasures from youth (good old New York-based TV!): a Halloween horror spoof with several really choice one-liners (mostly courtesy of the unseen "Breather," voiced by Richard Belzer). The first part of the movie is still inspired and wacky, with several effective running gags (gum! trash bags! boobies!), before the picture trails off considerably in the second half, where production problems apparently posed a problem and it basically ceases to be funny (Ritchie had his name removed from the credits). It's also - and this is an oddity for the genre - essentially a PG-rated movie, and the humor's more goofy and absurd than anything else (horse head bookends! talking through a rubber chicken! Malvert!).
