Two cavemen (Jack Black and Michael Cera) leave their village - after Black munches on some forbidden fruit - and wander into a series of loosely-strung together sketches out of the Bible, which illustrate that ha ha, circumcision is funny and ha ha, so is rubbing down hairy men with oil. It's dire and uninspired - Black's raised brow and oafish demeanor as well as Cera's perceptive dork routines have, at this point in time, been milked completely dry. This whole movie would have been squeezed into two short skits in Mel Brooks' A History of the World, Part I.
