Stagy but still nice adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play, which remains witty and snappy in terms of wit (as expected) though rather plain and simple with its plot (alas, it is dated - everyone and his uncle has borrowed from Mr. Wilde). Not really much to say - everyone's familiar with the 'battle of the sexes' - except that it's likable and extremely well performed by an extremely talented cast. By the way, I still can't get enough of Joan Greenwood's voice - I need to marry a British girl with as charming an accent.
