Perpetually shirtless treasure hunter Matthew McConaughey and researcher gal-pal Kate Hudson are in the midst of divorce (a tradition as American as thievery) but come together once more to dig some lost relics under the ocean. McConaughey and Hudson are admittedly cute together but the script is lacking in both romance and comedy - only McConaughey, sans bongo, looks like he's having a blast (since he's playing Matthew McConaghey). Example of the 'funnies': Alexis Dziena's bikini-clad ditz having a poor sense of geography.
