Mystics in Bali

D-Grade horror from Indonesia - where people apparently crave movies featuring disembodied heads that consume unborn babies - shows a dumb bunny American doing research on black magic (termed 'leyak') but - like the foolish foreigner she is - becoming a victim of the Queen of the Dark Arts. Stop me if I make this sound interesting, because this is chatty when it should be scary and ridiculously inept in construction - a plastic head slides down a wire, appliances barely stick on the skin, the medium changes with the 'special effects' scenes (with this 'pristine' transfer, it's obvious when they switch from film to video). It's terrifying on an aesthetic level.
