Flawless

Director: Michael Radford
Year Released: 2007
Rating: 2.0

Standard heist movie meets up with a ho-hum anti-capitalist message as U.S. born, English-educated Demi Moore teams up with Custodial Mastermind Michael Caine to rob a London-based diamond company. Seeing Demi in ugly makeup and struggling to do a British accent is hardly cinematic gold, though Michael Caine - even on automatic - is something to behold: it's the combination of experience and understatement. There are your prerequisite number of logical loopholes in a crime picture like this, and the ending - though aiming for the feel-good - leaves credibility far behind (wouldn't anyone check to see where Demi's character was getting all this money from?).
