Demons
Director: Lamberto Bava
Year Released: 1985
Rating: 0.0
Unsuspecting people are given free passes to see a horror movie just as bad as Lamberto Bava or Dario Argento have ever made (including this - oh bitter irony!) but end up trapped in the theater and turned into monsters. Cheaply-made and with Z-grade "acting," this is absolutely trash, not even half-decent enough for the cheap thrills of Fulci or even moderately creative in its carnage. The directorial hack work is courtesy of Little Mario Bava, but I blame Argento for the equally terrible rock-inspired (and inappropriate) soundtrack - the line in the opening credits that reads "Additional music by Rick Springfield" is scarier than anything that follows it.
