Another one of those "it's all in the main character's head" type of jigsaw movies (don't act like I spoiled it for you - act like I saved you two hours) that involves a young man in a psychiatric ward with amnesia and the growing suspicion that he killed someone and is suppressing the memory of it. What follows after that is just a jumble, bouncing between 'the past' (I'm guessing) and 'the present,' with two doctors appearing and disappearing, plus lots of talk about psychosis and all that. I tried making sense of it but gave up after half-way through, waiting impatiently for clarity to come along and make itself welcome - in fact, there are even more twists later that make even less sense than their predecessors. The only reason I searched for this picture in the first place was because I liked the low-budget punk fantasia that was Funeral Parade of Roses - if you haven't seen that yet, it's the Matsumoto movie worth seeking out.
