A boy (who recently lost his mother) discovers a bag full of money by a train track, so he and his brother try to figure out what to do with it - the older brother is a budding capitalist and wants to invest in real estate (and, in the meantime, purchase expensive gadgets for himself) while the gullible younger brother wants to give it away. I'm sorry to admit that the strongly enforced 'magical air' the film is supposed to carry died for me about half-way through when I officially became sick of the cameos by Saints (honestly, the boy should see a neurologist immediately), Boyle's flashiness and the movie's melodrama, which only gets embarrassingly glaring for the conclusion. The screenplay starts off in the right direction - it allows for a moral 'middle ground' which makes it legitimate to steal from criminals - but the rest of it is too pat and self-satisfied.
