House of Flying Daggers

You've got your fake plastic watering cans to sprinkle the fake plastic Photoshop grass while the three fake plastic figures with fake plastic knives in a fake plastic story find no pleasant resolution to their fake plastic love triangle. Resplendent-as-hell, it's hollow in the same way Hero managed to be, passing off intense looks and intimate rolling in the fields as emotion - the only emotion by anyone was, no doubt, when the film crew discovered that they got the right shade of peach to come out in the autumn shots. While I can understand the need for making colorful cinema, more time on the screenplay and less on coming up with different ways for the CGI daggers to flip around the bamboo might be advisable.
