Stuck on You
Director: Bobby and Peter Farrelly
Year Released: 2003
Rating: 2.5
Good-natured comedy about a set of conjoined twins with different personalities (One's an actor, the other has stage fright! One's good with women, the other's a clod! One's smart, the other's dense!) pressed into a series of sitcom-esque setups. Since the Farrellys are 'beyond' their early fascination was with crude humor, they now seem to be going in the opposite direction (towards 'cleanness') - I can't say I have a real problem with this, since I dislike all of their early work. Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear have chemistry together, and contrary to what others say there are more than a few good laughs in here (though nothing to make you double over - for example, I liked Seymour Cassel's shyster agent - a take on his In the Soup character - and, of course, Meryl Streep, Frankie Muniz and Cher playing themselves).
