A biological disaster hits a town in Western PA and a small group of townies resist being contained in a local high school by government cronies with guns and gas masks. There's not much character development to speak of, so it doesn't exactly matter what happens to the few people trying to get away; likewise, the references to Vietnam don't make much of an impact. Since it isn't exactly a 'horror film,' it's neither scary nor action-packed although fans of the director might be interested in seeing how some of the ideas in this would get reused later.
