Dark Habits (1983) review

Ill-advised early film from Almodóvar about a group of deviant nuns who write pornographic novels, keep a tiger outside, step on glass, shoot heroin and have names like Sister Manure and Sister Snake. While the idea of having crazed nuns could be funny - it hasn't been, to my knowledge, in movies like Nuns on the Run or Sister Act, but you never know - his treatment is anything but. It is insulting to one's intelligence.
