Droning puppet show from Henson and Oz about the battle of good and evil, yadda yadda, and some impressive looking bad guys are defeated by two completely weak elfin folk. It has some neat touches (the Fizzgig creature, a fur ball that leaps and growls, is cute), but the inexpressive main characters are significantly less compelling than the evil crabs and lizards they are up against and, in all likelihood, shouldn't be able to defeat (of course they can, because that's what's told in the 'prophecy,' thereby assuring a positive ending). Its wooden Punch-and-Judy routines started to wear me down early on and it noticeably lacks the vivacious personality of the Muppet TV program.
