... and that one thing isn't sex, sorry. Another one of those 'intersecting lives' ditties, this time it's Altman as written by some philosophy majors. Every character – from the physics professor to the bathroom cleaners – muses on the meaning of life and happiness, and most of them wind up at the horribly simplified conclusion that people, in general, aren't happy (break out the awards). But the amazing thing is how precious and groundbreaking it thinks it is – one faux-poetic scene has an injured girl walking in the rain … and she's the only one without an umbrella because, you know, the world is raining on her. This prompted loud groaning from me (as you might expect).
