Teeth

Director: Mitchell Lichtenstein
Year Released: 2007
Rating: 2.0

Dawn (Jess Weixler) discovers from a very young age something might be wrong with her female parts - her vagina, it seems, has teeth - and because of this discomfort with her anatomy she starts preaching to younger students about abstinence (she even wears a purity ring!). Cunning concept (vagina dentata!) about consent being mandatory - males discover the hard way about trying to force themselves inside of her - that doesn't have a third act: she finds out the teeth only emerge when she's being used against her will, but then just runs off away from her home and ends up ... who knows where. Less scary than goofy and uncomfortable from a male standpoint (so many severed members and fingers!), it would have benefited from a script that takes it past the concept stage.
