It's impossible for me to describe this without using the words 'beautiful' and 'adorable,' so I'll get those terms out early. Curious mouse artist Celestine forms an unlikely team with one-man-band - and social outcast - Ernest, a bear, and the two rob a husband/wife tandem who sell sweets and dental implants (respectively), but the idea of mice and bears being friends scares their respective communities. 'Hand-drawn' and with an impressive attention to detail, this looks like an animated watercolor painting - the story itself is very simple and simply told, although the message about societies recognizing unorthodox relationships and learning to tolerate instead of demonize 'the other' is important to people of all genders ... and species.
