Here's another example of a Precocious Sundance Indie, as street performer-slash-vacuum repairman (how charming!) encounters a flower-girl from Prague (how ... unique!) and the two of them magically form a band. Not really much of a "movie" - more like a faux jam session, and the attempts at generating chemistry/drama between the two leads aren't nearly as interesting as them playing around with their instruments (because when they're singing, at least they aren't trying to act). The ending is odiously feel-good, as everyone gets whatever he/she wants. Between this and the booze-laced Dublin of Joyce's mind, I guess I'll have to take the potatoes and misery; sorry hipsters.
