Springtime in a Small Town

Director: Tian Zhuangzhuang
Year Released: 2002
Rating: 1.0

Standard love triangle fare about a sickly man, his wife and the man his wife used to be in love with - based on that alone, you should be able to figure out where this belabored effort is probably going to head. It's stilted and (according to the director) purposely detached - maybe the story is just meant to be a minor distraction from the great cinematography. A must for tracking shot fans (you know who you are).
