The Three Caballeros

Director: Norman Ferguson
Year Released: 1945
Rating: 2.0

Disney's 'exploration' of parts of South America that is intended to 'educate' the audience on some customs and traditions of the people but only reinforces stereotypes and clichés. Like with any Disney picture, however, there are lots of juicy morsels thrown into the spotty 'narrative,' like the mind-blowing psychedelic number that twists Donald Duck's form into every direction as well as a cute bit about a penguin that's always cold. Otherwise, it's uncharacteristically forgettable.
